NOW JUST SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION....I DON'T OBJECT TO LITTLE FALLS ALLOWING THESE TYPE OF SIGNS OR ANY OTHER OFF PREMISE, BUT THEY ARE ILLEGAL UNDER THE CURRENT SIGN ORDINANCE THAT WAS ENACTED 7-2-12 and are a violation of the law. We either MUST eliminate the sign ordinance, or follow it fairly. Right???? Even though I have written a number of emails to Ben Oleson, he continues to ignore my question, as to why he is allowing this.
Now Mr. Ben Oleson says in a recent email, that after he consulted with the city attorney(Toni Wetzel) he has determined that these signs of the pop can collection vins do not meet the DEFINITION OF OFF-PREMISE SIGNS. He states that they do, however need permits and will be verifying whether they are properly permitted. I asked him in a return email, why he didn't look into this matter when there was a complaint lodged on July 10th, 2014 (4 months ago) and that these signs certainly DO NOT FIT THE DEFINITION OF AN ON PREMISE SIGN EITHER. I am convinced the city is hell-bent on getting city sued again, and reminded him, that whatever he allows for some, I might utilize, also.
