STIR THE WORLD

I recently proposed my vision for STIR THE WORLD to the UP group(Uniting People).   This is a concept of reaching the masses through song/satire/sustenance.  Here is my comment from Nov. 8th on my vision..   I believe we should run a movement like a cooperative with the focus of selling UNITY of people who believe in transparent, honest, inclusive government of the people.  I believe we should adopt the idea of each one, reach one.  I have this vision "STIR THE WORLD" ////song, satire, sustenance.   In order to accomplish this to it's fullest extent, we would need at least one well known singer/performer on board to help us get the word out and likely at least one major concert to get the ball rolling. I have suggested to this group awhile back an idea such as FarmAid (with Willie Nelson) and other famous singers helping get their message out.  A PeaceAid type of movement.  The reason I got this idea of Stir the World is I asked for a bigger vision, one that encompassed the world, not just the U.S.A.   When I ask for creative ideas, I always get them, and  when I had my floral business selling to some of the largest and best furniture stores across the Upper Midwest, those ideas usually sold first when I created them just like I was given the vision.  There is no reason that a common person....any of us or all of us connected, could not accomplish this.  The people behind all other good movements were just the same as you and I.   The use of satire to drive home the point of how ludicrous our government is operating right now would work to show the common people that they can rise up and take back America.  And of course, good food is always key to hosting a great event/events.  So food for this event would have to be stellar.  I like the idea of beginning with big POTLUCKS so that no special food licenses would have to be gotten to host an event.  In the long run, I believe every community should have a food truck to serve the public that will come to the streets.   If the food truck offers food on the basis of pay what you feel it is worth, I believe that ample coverage would be gleaned to cover expenses, but likely show a profit, and nobody goes hungry.   Food trucks could be GIANT SIGNS WITH OUR MESSAGE PAINTED ON THE SIDES,  and food crews could perform, or sing out the message.   Music touches the soul and heart like nothing else.    We must use what works to do this.   Imagine a movement where everything is sung or acted, instead of the usual humdrum dialogue!!!   When we create website it would be dandy if we could have a unification song playing while they look at the website...something really catchy.   The email address for UP is    uniting_people@lists.riseup.net           Check it out.  Good information/ideas/conversations on there.   Cindy Sheehan is running for office in California and she comments from time to time on our listserve.    I also posted on my profile that I got another vision of having restaurants like this in at least some cities to get the message out also.  A "pay it forward" way of operating these restaurants would also likely work.  Customers could participate in the songs and have open dialogue at the "common table".   A place for all to speak....no matter what their political/ or spiritual ideology is.   In essence a "town hall"  within the restaurant every day.  

Robin Hensel free speech lawsuit update

Oral arguments will be heard in Duluth on December 11, 2013 at 11 AM.  It should be fascinating.   Theresa Skorseth and I plan to attend.   My stellar team of lawyers will be arguing my case for me.   Stay tuned for updates following that hearing.
