Alan Maki has written a post on Cindy Sheehans blog called "We need a living-wage!    It is incredibly well written and very pertinent for REAL CHANGE IN AMERICA!!!!   Please read it.   You can find it at Cindy Sheehans"s Soapbox.    Cindy is running for public office in California.....lucky California!!!!!     You can also read and access Uniting People (UP), a new organization for Peace, Equality, Full Employment, Universal Healthcare, and Protection of the Environment.    The blog for UP group is     http://unitingpeopleworks4us.blogspot.com/      Please take the time to research this and join us in our mission to RIGHT THIS NATIONS' DIRECTION and achieve a  "21st Century Full Employment Act for Peace and Prosperity".
There is a Jim Casey Foundation study that suggests we are better off as a nation, financing foster care children finding forever homes instead of allowing children in the foster care system to exit the system without a safety net.   These kids get pregnant more often, don't graduate, exist on low wages or become dependent on the social service system for a lifetime, or end up incarcerated costing SOCIETY approximately 8 BILLION DOLLARS EVERY YEAR.  I will post the study as soon as I can figure out how to do it.  I have sent this study to Congressman Rick Nolan, Senator Paul Gazelka, and Representative Ron Kresha(my legislators) this information today, Sept. 29,2013 and I expect them to work their fannies off to make sure the proper funding to end the great disparity between foster care stipend and adoption subsidy is rectified.     We have an obligation to help these kids.

Hands off Syria

Now is the time to get to the streets and SHOW UP AND SPEAK OUT AGAINST THIS INSANE SUGGESTION OF LOBBING MISSILES INTO A COUNTRY WHO HAS NOT ADVANCED ON OUR NATION!!!     WOO HOO...I have a blog....so happy to be able to communicate with others in this way.     I will be posting many of my thoughts in the future on peace activism, my lawsuit for free speech, and any other activities I think the public might be interested in, including my announcement for candidacy again.     Until next time.....with hope and solidarity, Robin Hensel     tweet tweet
