No surprise here. Diversity is also necessary for a healthy, vibrant, economically sound community. Without it, the community is stagnant. That is precisely why cities like Minneapolis and St. Paul are actually thriving. But there is much that needs to be addressed in those cities, like the great economic opportunity disparity between the predominantly beige communities and communities of color.
