I doubt this is about religion. Religion(myth and superstition, and religious differences is well tolerated in rural MN. Baptists and Mormons are not concerned about Mennonites or Amish because they are mostly white. Religion is being used as a cover for the RACISM that dominates the ignorant among the rural people of faith. It is not 100% RACISM but, certainly not exclusively about religion.
