Kate Festler, where do you work again?

Kate Festler is an employee of the Little Falls Franciscan Sisters. I point that out, as alot of folks may not know that. She walks or rides her bike through my back alley, to get to her job at the convent. I am really troubled by her backwards, bigoted intolerance, and continuing efforts to make our newest community members(Somali Muslims) unwelcome, especially because of her employment with the Franciscans. Is this what they approve of? See the Franciscan employees Statement of Purpose

I want to remind Kate that the Amish amongst us, (as well as other groups), do NOT assimilate, nor should they have to. The Amish speak a different language, even while shopping in Long Prairie, Mn. (I recently witnessed a local Amish couple speaking a different language, not English, while they shopped and checked out at the counter)...and I was not the LEAST BOTHERED BY THIS. Or the fact, they live a communal life, amongst ONLY other Amish. There are COUNTLESS LATINO people that do NOT speak English in public....big deal !!!! Even the Franciscans you derive your salary from, choose willingly to live a cloistered life, .....does THAT BOTHER YOU ??? And if so, why aren't you preaching about that? What planet do you live on Kate? And why are you bothered by some folks separating themselves from society? Does it bother you, that the hundreds of Hillman, MN PREPPERS seclude themselves from local society, preparing for the worst to happen? If it does, why aren't you hammering that point home in the numerous articles you have written for the Morrison County Record? Should the Jesuit priests NOT SECLUDE THEMSELVES, because you think THEY should assimilate? Why do ANY persons in our society, have to live a certain way, because right wing radical, intolerant, folks such as you, think they should????
