  1. There is a middle ground that was not mentioned. The choice is not just between violent revolution and standing with signs. Non-violence also involves sit-ins, trespass, tree sitting, blocking entrances and roadways etc...I think we( the whole peace movement, not necessarily the BACP/Little Falls groups need to do something that involves some risk that might make the media pay attention and inspire others to act. As I said in the discussion the current strategy does not seem to be having the desired impact. We all enjoy supporting each other and gathering for discussions/ presentations. There is a middle ground that was not mentioned. If we want "peace" and structural societal change something probably should change. The choice is not just between violent revolution and standing with signs. Non-violence also involves sit-ins, trespass, tree sitting, blocking entrances and roadways etc...I have not advocated violence and think that we'd be crushed if we took that route. I also oppose the strategy of waiting to see if the "frogs jump out of the pot of boiling water". Glad I attended and enjoyed the day. Thanks to BACP

    1. I wonder if ANYTHING can prod the frogs out of the pot before they are all scalded alive?
