I am happy to report that Lily the nine year old pug mix dog that was sooooo friendly, got adopted right after I finished filming.  A nice couple and their teenage daughter came to give her a "forever home."   Won't you please consider adopting one of these other great pets?    Get them out of jail tomorrow.   They will love you forever.   It is healthy to have a pet...studies show that.   Good for them...good for us.   What could be better.

I decided to post this letter for everyone to see.  As I am going through a backlog of paperwork and videos I am catching up.  I did not have knowledge of the electronic techniques that I have learned in the last 6 months, or I would have posted this earlier.  In the future I will be sharing many more interesting letters that people have sent to me in the U.S. Postal Service mail.   I have never met Cary Blechinger. 

How could Little Falls Sister City Exchange, plan and advertise this event BEFORE they have an executive committee?

 I am thrilled this group is attempting to survive on their own efforts and not accepting public funds illegally or fundraising illegally anymore.(government agencies or committees cannot fundraise or solicit donations, and public funding must have a VALID PUBLIC PURPOSE.....which this group NEVER HAD.)    What I think is telling here is that the existing group(whoever set up this fundraiser) has chosen to not do ANY OF THE WORK involved to pull off their very first fundraiser. They are letting Black And White staff cook the food, serve the food and even DO THE DISHES.   Another interesting thing is....attendees will have to buy their own booze on top of the $40.00 fee to attend.  But whoever flies to LeBourget will not have to spend any money (other than their airline fee), to have free lodging, free transportation, free translation service, free entertainment, free gifts and FREE BOOZE.  

The French delegates actually WORK to earn their money to accommodate Littlefallsians....primarily by participating in a HUGE flea market selling donated goods.  

Another question is, how on earth will this group host the French with only 8-10K $$$ when they SPENT OVER 20K in 2011, the last year the French attended?   I wonder who spends more?

It will sure be interesting to see if the mayor and council really get behind this group, on their own dime.....especially the members who voted to ILLEGALLY GIVE AWAY TENS OF THOUSANDS OF YOUR PUBLIC FUNDS.  I believe the total illegal giveaway to this group of opportunity hoarders was around $40 THOUSAND or more!!!!!   

The council members who voted to ILLEGALLY fund this committee in the last 3 years are...Urban Ortremba....Mayor Greg Zylkas...former Mayor Cathy VanRisseghem....her brother Frank Gosiak....Loren Boyum....former councilor Leeann Doucette....former council president Herr Col. Don Klinker Stinker.....and Jeremy Hanfler.     

For some of these folks there was an OBVIOUS CONFLICT OF INTEREST.  Such as Mayor and her brother Frank.  Her daughter and son in law(Gabrielle and David Meyer) received all the travel perks when they were delegates from Little Falls to LeBourget in 2013. ( mayors daughter and son in law and Frank's niece) David is an official city Parks board member....another conflict.   Former council president urban Ortremba and wife traveled in past years.  Other former mayors and councillors likely received these perks in past years as well.  The conflict arose because the very people who traveled (or their relatives) received direct benefits, after they voted to illegally fund this former city committee.  

Whoever the city attorney was when this city committee was set up, sure wasn't very bright.  What kind of attorney would allow such nonsense of violating STATE AUDITOR policy that disallows government bodies to fundraise and solicit donations.  Was it Peter Vogel(Brigid Fitzgeralds partner) or some other attorney?   

I wonder what the French folks would think about the City of Little Falls violating the Minnesota State Auditors policies for years????  The city would appear rather LAWLESS to anyone with a full brain.   Not only a lawless council....but lawless city attorney and staff.  Pretty sad.  

Folks you and I paying way too high of salaries and being ripped off for poor service. I am not making this stuff up.  I remind readers ....I have the proof.  

It is no wonder this area has had a bad reputation for decades.  And it got its bad reputatation long before I put my signs out 3 years ago.  I have had numerous people stop by my house ....too many to count .....to tell me their experience with corrupt city or county dealings/treatment.  

Last fall I had a gentleman tell me how surrounding city law enforcement personnel think of and speak about the Little Falls Police Department.  Your police department is only as good as your council, mayor and city administrator, because that's their boss.  

Think about it.  It's your money.  The council chamber seats SHOULD BE FILLED.  But they're not. Each meeting there are usually only 1-6 other citizens present besides myself.  Whe I first began attending in February 2012, I was the ONLY ONE there except for Terry Lehrke the reporter for the official newspaper the Morrison County Record.  What a shame.  That explains why all the collusion/corruption/cronyism has been happening for decades.  

BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN ALLOWING THEM TO OPERATE IN THE DARK!!!!

2-2-15 Little Falls city council work session.  Loren Boyum says he had a constituent complaint/question about how soon the electronic speed reader sign might be placed in front of St. Gabriels hospital. (right by my place).  You don't suppose he's concerned that the local cops have been speeding, do you?   

Greg Zylka speaks. Why don't they just treat everybody fairly and they won't have to look over shoulders. Duh.

OH OH.....this is exactly the type of reasoning that caused the lawsuit I filed in 2012.   Your city attorneys are not very savvy. 

She says the zoo fits within the definition of park and "there could be some wiggle room for the council to say, well, in this SITUATION  we're gonna authorize it.  Now are you treating people disparately? Have you denied people access before, perhaps you have, YOU KNOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO TREAT EVERYBODY THE SAME, but you have to have a "common sense" reason for why you do things. 

 What part of equal treatment under the law doesn't she get?  

Will another legal challenge be necessary in the future?   Time will tell.  

They just don't seem to get it.   This is America. And we do have equal rights laws.   Even though Toni Wetzel doesn't seem to think so.

Now read for yourself the misprint.  I never stated anywhere in this public forum comment that I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY ORDINANCE TO BE VIOLATED. (that's what Terry Lehrke said I said).   Instead I said "I will not tolerate any of my rights to be violated, or to be treated unequally under the law."  BIG DIFFERENCE.  I have sent a letter to Terry Lehrke, her boss Tom West, her bigger boss Keith Anderson at ECM Publishers and a few others, including Gabby Landsverk who doesn't report like this.  I asked Terry if it was an error, or if she change the wording on purpose.  I also stated, "I would assume you will be printing a correction."   Pardon my frustration, but I have lived through 3+ years of this type of poor journalism, and frankly I am fed up.  Wouldn't you be?

Robin Hensel questions Greg Kimman about SEH mandatory filing of donation to city/discounted design of Little Falls Area Recreational Complex

I thought I would just question him about this, to see if SEH, the firm Greg formerly worked for, prior to getting picked to be the public works director for Little Falls.   I checked going way back in the donation records that are in the council packet, (on all the donations to the city) and did not see SEH listed.   I wonder why they didn't fill out a donation form?   Former Mayor Cathy VanRisseghem stated publicly that SEH had cut the rate charged to the city by something like 4k.   That's a pretty large donation.   Greg has attended every city council work session and council meeting in the last 3 years that I have been attending, so why didn't he know this was a necessity and more importantly, why didn't he have the company file a donation form?   Perhaps they did and I didn't see it.  If so, he will let me know.  I will not forget to check in with him next meeting to hear results.  2-2-15 work session

10-21-13 Theresa Skorseth helps council connect the dots between overspending on war, and not being able to fix bridges and roads, and meet human needs.  They didn't get it however.  Do you?

Why did Officer David Stevenson suggest filing a restraining order on me? Why did he suggest filing the report with the county attorney?

Now how come Officer Craig Seelen knows it is perfectly legal to film from a public street and Officer David Stevenson doesn't?   Or doesn't Stevenson care?   It is OUTRAGEOUS for anyone to state they are afraid of me.  What I think she really meant was that she didn't like the publicity she got for her sign violation.(flying 2 flags and displaying a large rock with the word VOGLS inscribed onto it.)  

Become compliant and nobody will have any reason to display video footage or pictures of your sign overages.

I also remember reading in the mortgage foreclosure section of the Morrison County Record, a David Stevenson and his wife losing their home to foreclosure.  Hmmmm.   

Kathy Barthel, dispatcher for the Little Falls Police Department....should know better than to violate the sign ordinance.

If anybody should be aware of the laws in this town, it should be the employees of the police department, who are charged with enforcing the law.   Shame on the Barthels.   They should know better.  It's not like they weren't aware that they were in violation of the sign ordinance.   A number of times.  How dare Kathy suggest I was harassing her while on a public street, legally filming.   If people don't want their property filmed for overages of the sign ordinance.....get compliant.   Anybody can read the sign ordinance or get the information from city hall.  It doesn't cost anything.

In her own words, Susy Prosapio states: "The City Council had a legitimate concern on two fronts.  One is people acting on behalf of the city being involved with fundraising.  Two, are we being clean with the money, making sure the money from these fees is used for public benefit."

Now see for yourself how this compares with her words in her letter sent to me. And don't miss the video of her citizen appeal on 9-22-13 where she encourages the city council to continue funding the Sister City committee illegally, in violation of the State Auditors law that says public funds must be spent only on items that include a public purpose.  I think savvy folks can see clearly what is going on here.  Susy clearly wanted to keep the public funding for this committee, so the committee wouldn't have to give up their luxury benes when they arrived in France that included free housing, free interpretive services, free gifts, free entertainment, free booze, free transportation, and more.  This committee clearly did not want to work hard and do the fundraising either.  It is illegal for any government to fundraise, solicit gifts or give public funds without showing a public purpose.   City and this committee guilty on all counts.  Shame on you Susy...you should know better.    Susy is close friend with the new mayor Greg Zylka and has been his campaign organizer in the past.   Greg Zylka and the other council members voted to continue funding the Sister City committee, even after being warned about the illegality of it.   Lawless city council.   Gregs hands are dirty.   And now Susy pretends she ever cared about "being clean with the money?" Ya right.

BOYS IN BLUE speeding habits

Good news to report.....the last couple days I have observed at least 2 squads running red, traveling south on First Street, markedly slower than I have witnessed in the past. I am glad to see this.  I hope it continues.  Perhaps my blog post that exposed Officer Jon West and Officer Rick Heurungs outlandish  speeding,  and other unethical antics, helped slow down officers out front.   I sure hope so.  I regularly monitor my property and of course those cameras capture law enforcement vehicles speeding occasionally.  I will be publishing future speeding violations on this blog.

Camp Ripley soldiers allowed to infiltrate the local middle and elementary schools. This is troubling.

I for one, am deeply concerned that Camp Ripley National Guard soldiers were recently allowed entry to every public school in Little Falls, Minnesota, under the guise of "community service."  Now I have no problem with the guard members helping out at the thrift store, the senior center, and other areas they went to this past Thursday, but I strongly object to their being allowed into our middle and elementary schools to impression and influence them at such an early age.  This is just another attempt to indoctrinate/brainwash our local kids.  I believe this was done in conjunction with the program titled Mission:Readiness.  I sincerely hope that when a peace group wishes to do the same type of thing, that they are allowed to provide the necessary balance.  In other words, kids should be allowed to dream about other career options than the military.  Our students should be shown that it is equally important to work towards peace and social justice.

The proposed community center that the Little Falls School district is touting may not be such a grand idea.  A WHOPPING $$$ 15.4 MILLION and 77,000 square feet of FIELD HOUSE is proposed by Little Falls school district and may be on  referendum in May of this year. "Community Field House visualized for all ages" article in the Mcrecord lays it all out for all to see. It has been highlighted that 4 other communities have built a similar community center. Monticello (who have the nuclear plant), Becker(who have the coal fired electric plant), Hastings and St. Michael-Albertville, all with way more financial strength and ability to afford this type of facility.  In this weeks Mcrecord there is also an article titled "National study of counties has good and bad news", and in it, it states Morrison county has only recovered it's GDP,  but still has higher unemployment and lower home prices.  Now come on folks....is it that hard to figure out what's going on here.  Since the sales tax referendum failed that was to fund the LFARC sports complex, this group pushing this wants your tax dollars to bring in revenue for the school district to host baseball and other tournaments.  I would be all for this if our area was prospering, but it is NOT!  Numerous home foreclosures fill the local newspaper every WEEK and this does NOT include all the HUNDREDS of bankruptcies.   The tiny group of individuals pushing this do NOT HAVE ECONOMIC worries, like the MAJORITY of residents who do.  AND WHAT WILL IT COST TAXPAYERS TO HOLD THIS REFERENDUM?                Do we wish to become the next Vadnais Heights?          They are a community of just over 12k population....only 3k more than  Little Falls.               Listen as I expose what happened to the Vadnais Heights sports complex and how it helped to tank their bond rating.                   Theresa Skorseth shares information on the military spending reduction resolution, the MN ASAP resolution that many cities, mayors, counties, councils, and churches signed on to.  Wonder why????    This backwards thinking council chose to ignore it of course.  10-21-13 Little Falls city council work session.
