This guy who lives at Little Falls Cottages, 600 Lindbergh Drive, is happy to show off his primitive backwards bigotry for all the world to see. Notice his Confederate flag in the window? Picture taken 9-19-16.
I wonder if there are laws prohibiting this in Section 8 housing?
On my Facebook post about this.....Rose Patrick wrote the following.....
Here is my response to her.
There is a key reason I said that to her.
Robin you praised me a couple months ago for sticking up for you about your freedom of speech. That you have every right to post what you believe. But now you are condemning me for my rebel flag. There is something wrong with this pucture . its OK for your freedom of speech but when I want to show the world the I am a rebel against this government. Its not OK. To call me a big got is funny cause I am not even racist. I use to be but my spirituality don't allow it. You need to think about what you say. You want people to respect your freedom of speech, then you need to respect others.
ReplyDeleteI never said you were living in Section 8 housing. That mobile park home IS a Section 8 licensed provider...it states so in the advertising section of the very public ads in the Morrison County Record. The Confederate flag is NOT rebel flag. You don't know your history of the sordid past of this country. I am aware of plenty that has happened by your home and in this area. And don't think for one minute that I won't those events in the future. With just the right people.
DeleteDustin, why don't you fly the ameriKan flag upside down if you disagree with your government? That would be more appropriate. Read the response I gave your sister Becky about the Confederate flag and the official city newspaper(the Morrison County Record) article about that flag.
DeleteAlso I am not section 8 as you put it. I pay full rent. Thank you very muvh . I work to fucking jobs to make my life.
ReplyDeleteHey you dumb twit:Get your information before "blogging" about my brother. He does not live on section 8 housing. He works 2 jobs and provides everything for himself. Just thinking you should keep your nose to your self before going around the city and taking pictures of other people's places. And are you sure about that being his car?????
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know this is your brother. Lots of essential tips coming my way lately. It is a concern of not only myself, but the official city newspaper(the Morrison County Record) that the flying of the Confederate flag is repulsive. The Record called upon the "good people" of Morrison County to "SHAME SUCH BEHAVIOR before it gets out of hand." The article titled "Fraying of civil order needs to be nipped in the bud" reminds the readers that "suddenly, we are now seeing more Confederate flags waving from trucks or homes. Again, people may have a right to do that, just as the courts have ruled that burning the U.S. flag is freedom of speech, but the historical truth of the Confederate flag is that it REPRESENTED A SOCIETY THAT REFUSED TO ACCEPT THAT SLAVERY WAS WRONG." I welcome anyone to photograph any of my flags, or signs on my property or vehicles, or when I protest or take part in a vigil anywhere. If Dustin is truly proud of flying a flag that represents bigotry, I think he should be proud to be identified as a racist for doing so. There are after all, "Don't tread on me" flags that could represent his opposition to the US government. Or, he could choose to fly the US flag upside down, as a form of protest. Feel free to share my tweets, Facebook posts, blogposts, or pictures of my frontyard with anyone you like. I do things in a very public way, because I want to have the information be shared far and wide. Everything I do locally, involves turning the "community norms" on their head. Because the local community norms are backwards and bigoted, and not good for anyone in our society.
DeleteIf it was so racist why do even black people fly it
ReplyDeleteThat is a great question Patrick. Ask them and then report back.
DeleteAnother question that you should be asking is why the Ku Klux Klan flies it at THEIR ceremonies? Why do you fly it? Why do you suppose all those folks showed up flying Confederate flags in their pickup trucks in St. Cloud at the Crossroads mall after the mass stabbing? What do you think the purpose of their flying that flag was then, if not as a symbol of racism?
DeletePretty sure there was a funeral that day. So what are you trying to say?
ReplyDeleteThe trucks flying the Confederate flag, patrolling neighborhoods with alot of Somalis, African Americans, and Latinas was to intimidate, stalk, harass and terrorize those people
