Mayor Greg Zylka...is Coborns Superstore BREAKING THE LAW by being in violation of sign ordinance? You should know the answer.

This PROVES that Coborns Superstore WAS in violation of the sign ordinance law before the NEW SIGN ORDINANCE was passed July 2, 2012.  Why did you violate the sign ordinance, Greg? And why did you ask for 2 extensions? I guess the citys lawyers from the League of Mn Cities helped you out quite a bit by giving you and dozens of other business owners some MORE TIME TO BREAK THE LAW.
Coborns,  was granted 45 days extension total, to come into compliance, after  violating the sign ordinance for YEARS prior to 2012.  DOZENS OF OTHER BUSINESSES, were also in violation, for YEARS PRIOR TO 2012, and were granted 30, plus an additional 15 day extension to come into compliance.

Why does this matter? Because in the middle of the coldest part of winter, I was  granted FAR LESS(only 17 days), and city knew I HAD PNEUMONIA. And NONE OF my signs had BEEN UP ANYWHERE NEAR AS LONG AS COBORNS SUPERSTORE, the Red Bull Bar, the West Side Bar(owners Jeff Tschida, president of city Parks board and wife Deb Boelz, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce), and countless others.

SEE BOTTOM FOR MY SIGN WARNING LETTERS and citys response granting me way less time than others, or be cited.

There are 2 sets of LAWS....one for ME, and the other for EVERYONE ELSE.  And that'$ ILLEGAL folks.

Now look at this....Coborns asked for a conditional use or variance in 2006, for their ILLEGAL sign.
And here'$ Greg and his wife Wendy(city staff), former owners of the Red Bull Bar, asking for more sign extensions.
Check out all these signs....every one LARGE AND SMALL counts as to their allowable signage.

Is the manager, Mayor Greg Zylka, a lawbreaker by violating the sign ordinance ALLOWABLE amount of signage on the stores property that he is responsible for?
NOTICE THE TINY SIGNS IN FRONT OF ALL THE BAGGED GOODS....ALL THESE COUNT, towards their allowable sign space and must have a permit.

Every double faced cart corral sign, counts towards their allowable signage, and they ALL must have a permit....even the tiny sale signs in front of their outdoor merchandise.
A sign is a sign, is a sign.
Sure appears to me, they are waaay over.
Just look at all the dozens of signs and that REQUIRE a permit.

I wonder how many of these DOZENS OF SIGNS have the proper permit in Coborn's file at city hall.

AND more importantly...how many don't.
And I probably missed some.

In another post in the future, I will post ALL of the sign warning letters to businesses who asked for, and got extensions. Watch for it.
