Clearly there are 3 signs on this property, in violation of the city ordinance that states that only 2 signs are allowed per property. Or, one flag and one sign. Signs in total cannot exceed 8 sq. ft.
If this property is deemed legal, with 3 signs on their property, then anybody can do the same, including me.
Watch this blogpost for future additions and communication. I was told in June 2014 that this property was in compliance. I kept that correspondence from the zoning administrator, Ben Oleson. He stated he had clarified this finding with the City Attorney Toni Wetzel. She lives within one city block of this home and drives by it on a regular basis. City hall is one block away also. Very convenient for Ben Oleson to drive over and investigate. The sign ordinance is available for inspection on the City of Little Falls website under the codes and ordinances. If you have difficulty finding it, call the city at 320-616-5500. You can also request a copy from the front desk. Copies are 25 cents per page. I am not sure how many pages it is but probably like 30 max???
