This illegal off premise banner below, advertising (thanking) many businesses not on any of the pictured properties (where they have been in the last 4 years) is overlooked because the zoning administrator isn't doing his job.
All 3 banners are off premise and illegal. One on top is at Linden Hills, (a city owned property) and last year Ben Oleson city zoning administrator, told me Day of Caring was a school event. So signs couldn't be at Linden Hills or Boys n Girls Club location. Why are they allowed by city on city property, or the other 2 businesses this year. Answer: because city feels ABOVE THE LAW. This practice of selective enforcement, will eventually lead to another lawsuit. It'$ your money people. As long as YOU allow shabby city work, you can expect problems in the future. Promise. If enough of you complain to city hall, perhaps city will stop selective enforcement. I am not holding my breath.
