This is just to show how fast the squad cars travel on a fairly regular basis, night and day, out front of my house at 807 First St. S. E. and St. Gabriels Hospital. As you can see there is a fairly large funeral home kitty corner from me as well. First United Church, the Franciscan Convent, the hospital, Emblom Shelly funeral home and all of the traffic heading from people that live south along the Mississippi on Hilton Road, all intersect at this area, and because of that, there is a high rate of traffic. Ambulances and visitors entering and leaving the hospital, and sometimes long funeral processions leaving the funeral home, and big events at the church and the St. Francis Convent all add to the large amount of traffic. I am very concerned that there will be a really bad accident out here due to the high rate of speed by all the squad cars.
