Watch the city council meeting of April 20, 2020.  I want to know why Councilor Leif Hanson, my ward representative, had to ask NUMEROUS TIMES, to have city owned vehicles, maintained by more than one local mechanic shop? 

Also, $15,000.00 in taxpayer funded "mechanical inspections" paid because of Barrett Petfoods Innovations dogfood plant???????

Interesting discussion about the proposed "electric car charging station" at Maple Island Park, and a need to get the city attorney to draft some changes, that "skirt" disability parking laws in our state.  This will lead to legal trouble into the future.  I for one, won't stand for continuing violations of disability laws.   Ask yourself, why on earth would this city's staff and council even consider continued violations, after having to pay more than $14,000.00, for a chair at city hall? 

Important to note.....the law is on my side.   That is why the legal groups who have had to "remind" our leaders, that they cannot discriminate and get by with it. 

When will it end?

My question is....why was this data altered......see below....

  When I tuned in, Jon Radermacher was explaining about livestreaming was begun right after the public comment time on 3-16-20 work session.  They were livestreaming it, but since then, the video has been altered/cut.  Why?  It is a violation of the data practices act to do this.  I want an explanation. I am awaiting an answer from city administrator Jon Radermacher.  I have asked to listen to the audio recording of the meeting, that the city records on their tiny audiorecorder.

At least I obey the Constitution and know state and federal laws on disability access and would adhere to them.  I will be running for city council ward 1 against Raquel Lundberg and anyone else who enters the race. Lundberg voted to APPROVE the Dam Festival permits that temporarily close the only HANDICAPPED parking spaces AND the ROADS to enter the festival in city owned Maple Island Park. So did ALL the other councilors. Vote her out in November.

 Do you see what's going on here? Tell me the city does not discriminate against disabled people. Does it make you proud that the city is callous/careless about including everyone? The city owned/taxpayer funded park is open all year round.

Remember this most recent city induced fiasco when you vote in November 2020.  Vote all the bums out.
Jerry Knafla ward 2 seat, Frank Gosiaks ward 3 seat and Raquel Lundberg ward 1 seat is up in November 2020. So taxpayers have a chance to oust 3 of them. I bet each seat will be contested by a challenger.  Betcha.

In the video above Mayor Greg Zylka is pictured.  He and Jon Radermacher are responsible for not honoring my request for reasonable accommodation at city meetings. I can understand why the public is upset at both of them.  All they have to do going forward is, know the laws, apply them fairly and it wouldn't hurt to enact/develop a Human Rights Commission immediately.(Something I requested in 2013.)  If they had implemented one when I requested it, none of this would have happened.  The Human Rights Commission would have seen to it, that the city complied with the Americans with Disabilities Act and all other applicable laws.   That would be their job.  To intervene BEFORE  a complaint/lawsuit were filed.  Former councilor Loren Boyum stated they didn't need one and it could be problematic for the city.  ABSOLUTELY not true. The opposite is true.  Without one, it has proven to BE problematic.  If you are concerned about future city taxpayer costs escalating, I suggest you call city hall today and urge them to develop a Human Rights Commission this month. 320-616-5500

Sounds to me like they are opening another can of worms by suggesting the chair is on a first come, first serve basis.

Chair UPDATED at city hall cost taxpayers THOUSANDS....AGAIN. Blame Jon Radermacher/Greg Zylka

This is the most expensive chair at city hall.   And it is RESERVED solely for my use during city meetings.

And you can thank city administrator Jon Radermacher AND Mayor Greg Zylka for not accommodating my reasonable request in order to attend evening meetings.  They were both audiorecorded REFUSING to bring MY zero gravity reclining lawnchair into the chamber where city meetings are held. Those audiorecordings were sent to the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, for evidence.

SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT.  My free speech lawsuit attorney Larry Frost, had to send a letter to the city in 2014, urging the city to provide a more comfortable chair for me for city council meetings.  That chair was always in the chamber for my use after September 2014, so the city was well aware of my disability, way back then.  That chair has now been replaced with the zero gravity chair placed in the first row for my use.
