This is an archived report and you will have to pay to read the entire story. It is under 3 dollars to read it.
At least we know there is ONE NEWSPAPER WILLING TO REPORT THE FACTS, SO THE PUBLIC CAN BE INFORMED ABOUT Wabash's failure to comply with the Clean Water Act.

NOTICE....no mention of the "cheerleaders" for Wabash National who spoke at the EDA city public hearing. Instead only the "3 whistleblowers"Theresa Skorseth, Michael Hawkins and myself) are listed. That's because the Morrison County Wreckord (the official city/county newspaper who sucks up about 40k in taxpayer funded city/county subsidization every year) does not want to publicly broadcast who spoke in favor of allowing the 1.3 MILLION in corporate taxpayer funded welfare handouts to Wabash National. The "CHEERLEADERS" include: Dr. Phil Prosapio(Little Falls Orthopedics, a contracted workmans compensation doctor/provider), Tracy VanHercke (administrator Little Falls Orthopedics), Lee Boyles (CEO of CHI Catholic Health Initiatives), Family Medical Center, Steve Andres(president of the Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce), and Suzy Prosapio(owner of the Shoppes of Little Falls).
The medical community stands to PROFIT from future worker injuries/sickness related to chemical exposure of local workers and maybe even the greater community that lives and breaths the air that they may just pollute(as they have in numerous locations where they have done business.)
I believe their "cheerleading" was nothing but a very public business advertisement stunt.
And look who else opposes Wabash and the TAXPAYER FUNDED corporate welfare the city and county were willing to hand them...
I wish J.Ski and Newpolitik7 had shown up at the Wabash National public hearing to voice their opposition, or at least written a letter stating why they opposed.
The fact this community sits on it's hands while the power brokers run roughshod all over them is pathetic.
So j.ski thinks the City of Little Falls has been corrupt for 10 years.....I would have to agree....especially the current city council and some of city taxpayer finded staff.

Part 1, above, city council 3-6-17 and the Spectrum Cable Franchise hearing. Watch closely as the city attorney Toni Wetzel motions for Chief Schirmers to come arrest me, had I not sat down and stopped giving my public comments. I was denied the same time(6 minutes) that Sue Koester, Bruce Moller, and one other man that stood in the "people corral" during their last public hearing on Jan. 17, 2017.
The proof is in this video below where Sue Koester and others speak for almost 6 minutes, and are not asked to come to the podium like I was on March 6, 2017.
If they could violate their own policy of a 2 minute limit, why couldn't I. Why do I get less. Answer: because they don't like the content of my speech, of course." And this time, they also didn't like the content of two others(Theresa Skorseth and Michael Hawkins, fellow whistleblowers) either. When will they ever learn to apply their laws and policies uniformly? I am not holding my breath.
Part 2 above of city council meeting 3-6-17
Minnesota Open Meeting Law was violated by moving the Wabash National public hearing, advertised in the official county newspaper(Morrison County Record) to be held in the Board Room at 4 pm on 3-6-17, then moving it at the last minute to meeting room 1 in the basement of the courthouse, without the 3 day required public notice. The paper did not print the room change 3 days in advance of this meeting, as required by Mn. statute. The McRecord public notice was published only on Feb.19,2017. In order to follow the open meeting law, the McRecord would have needed to publish the meeting room change at least 3 days before the public hearing occured. A public hearing is considered a special meeting, and that is what is required for a special meeting of any type. I checked with the Minnesota IPAD office to clarify this.

Wabash National has a dirty track record, REPEATEDLY violating Clean Air Act laws IN THE LAST 2 YEARS(INVESTIGATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE...SEE LINK ABOVE, worker safety laws(OSHA), and more.

Look up and read the code of conduct for Wabash National. One of the first things listed is they will never violate the law. Oh really???¿¿¿

At about 11 minutes into the above video, mine and other public comments are heard. Notice especially that Theresa Skorseth who sat right next to me is NOT ORDERED to the podium, but I am. At the last public hearing on Jan.17,2017, numerous speakers spoke while remaining in the "people corral", but when I insist on the same treatment, Jeremy Hanfler(council president) ORDERS me to the podium, and even DOUBTS MY DISABILITY publicly, in a televised meeting. His behavior is despicable. I did NOT give him permission to discuss my disability. When will they "get it"?
I will never accept biased treatment. Why do they knowingly keep violating my rights?
In the above video, Mike Hawkins gives his 3 minutes public forum comment asks questions about why aluminum and carbon dioxide are added to our city drinking water. My public forum comment follows his. I tell how council president allowed Sue Koester, Bruce Moller and another man to speak for 6 minutes or so during their public hearing comments, even though the city has a public hearing policy that only allows speakers to speak for 2 minutes and with only 2 appearances.
In the above video is the Wabash National public hearing on their public funding request. Greg Zylka, the mayor and also president of the Little Falls Economic Development Association, conducts this hearing. He should know the rules by now and then some. He has been a councilor for years, and the mayor since 2014. When will he know the rules? Shouldn't ALL publicly elected officials know their own rules, as well as the Constitution they are sworn to uphold? Public comments are made by myself, Mike Hawkins, Theresa Skorseth, Suzy Prosapio, Doug Dahlberg, and John Saynor.
above video is part 2 of wk session on 3-6-17.
The above video is of the County RDFA Wabash National public hearing 3-6-17 at 4pm, in the basement of the courthouse, meeting room 1, instead of the Board Room that it was advertised to be in. Public comments by myself, Mike Hawkins(find him on Facebook at Michael Hawkins), and others.
Just so you don't miss.....might want to watch the above video again.
Michael Hawkins wants the public to know they can find him on Facebook as Michael Hawkins. He discusses Little Falls city drinking water issues and has information posted about what he is concerned about.
Just so you don't miss this historic Little Falls City Council regular televised meeting and Spectrum Cable Franchise hearing 3-6-17
