Growing web of laws keeps Minnesotans in the dark.

Boy, I can attest to this happening with data requests I have made to the City of Little Falls, LFPD and Morrison County Sheriffs Dept....... it has taken months, sometimes a half a year or more to get the requested information.

And there's even a new restriction BANNING the use of electronic devices in the hallway outside Morrison County courtrooms, including the area that a computer used for accessing court records sits, so no longer can anyone take photos of the documents listed on the court website.   Court documents are expensive (8-10$ per copy).  It almost seems like this is a deliberate move to curtail/limit/stifle data request copies.  What a sham.   They will do just about anything here to limit or restrict transparency.  Why...because they know I share the public information I get and they don't like that.
