Homelessness...a chilling reality in rural areas. I asked council to make LeBourget and Mill Park primitive overnight campgrounds in 2013

This county has no interest in helping homeless people, or we would already have a free soup kitchen every day, not just once a week at Oasis. Isn't that the "Christian" thing to do? Not one person in our town would be going hungry if we had this.

In my campaign for council ward 1 this year, I proposed a pay what you can, community run cafe...similar to Swanville's.  No set menu, all guest cooks, pay what you can and free to anyone in need.  If a little dinky town like Swanville, Mn can pull this together for years, why can't we?   Why hasn't Town 101 thought of this?   Why haven't they implemented it?   Because it would not line the pockets of the opportunity thieves involved in that group, that's why.   Shameful.
