At approximately 10am on 5-19-16, Little Falls, Mn. This block of First Street is really prone to vehicles landing in lawns of property owners. Twice in ten years a vehicle landed in MY front yard, damaging property and endangering lives every time. And now this.
Listen at 39 minutes in when City attorney Toni Wetzel advises council to be more specific in naming which types of businesses can be given a conditional use permit, rather than leaving the language vague/subjective. At 43.20 minutes she says " where we are at with people suing left and right." Was this a reference to my lawsuit as well as Bruce Smiths lawsuit on the Roach development or are there MORE lawsuits we don't know about yet ?? Mtg 5-16-16

5-16-16 Little Falls Mn city council work session ......notice how after my public forum on Rory Fannings treatment at a recent Trumpeter rally in Chicago. The level of disrespect shown by President Jeremy Hanfler is jaw dropping. He is the guy who said of me "what a retard huh". Classy.

What is interesting to note is that Jeremy Hanfler who sits on this board, is a Central McGowan employee. Mayor Greg Zylkas campaign manager, was Susie Prosapio, and is a former school board buddy of hers as well. How is this NOT A CONFLICT OF INTEREST? Was there a vote to determine the reductions? And if so, where is the record of the votes? Interesting to note also is that Wendy Zylka, mayor Greg Zylkas wife is the official writer of all the minutes for the city. See the problem here folks? I don't know who these Yetzer fellows are, but I intend to find out....and where these 3 business properties are.
Next year, EVERY PROPERTY OWNER (BUSINESS AND RESIDENTIAL, SHOULD FLOOD THIS Board of Review meeting and also ask for a REDUCTION.
What if ALL the downtown businesses asked for a reduction in their property values, to avoid paying most of their property tax? Do you think the Board of Review would grant them all? I think they should all do that next year.

Next Susie will be applying for the new Downtown Revitalization money that her buddy Mayor Greg Zylka, Lori Kasella and the Economic Development Association are cooking up, so that downtown businesses(certain ones....the ones they like of course) will be able to get grants and low interest loans to renovate the INTERIORS of their businesses. All on YOUR NICKEL. You and I are paying for all this business WELFARE. I object.

I got this response after I sent a letter asking why it had not been published to Tom West, Terry Lehrke and Keith Anderson at the ECM headquarters in Mpls.
Terry Lehrke stated it would run this weekend, if space allows.
See Susie Prosapio owns Black Dog Opportunities ( I would guess this is the old Thielen Appliance building that will become the Purple Carrot healthfood store for the good ol white boys club. She got a slick tax break of almost half the amount her property is worth. On top of that, she is likely going to get a bunch from HPC to renovate the front facade of the building. And then the city EDA committee(her buddy Mayor Greg Zylka is the president of that organization and Susie was his campaign manager) is working on a new sweetheart deal for SOME downtown businesses in the form of INTERIOR FIX IT FUNDING. That program is being worked on at present by Lori Kasella, city finance director, and it is called the Downtown Revitalization Program. Susie will be the first to have her hand out for that money too.
You don't suppose there might be a CONFLICT OF INTEREST going on here, do you? Sure smells like it to me.

The Purple Carrot healthfood co-op is just a good ol whiteboys club to get discounted healthfood for the RICH. They are doing NOTHING to help the poverty stricken in town be able to get the same discount. You see there will be a $200.00 membership. Only those who have paid this membership fee will get the DISCOUNTED food price. I made the good suggestion, they waive tge membership fee to the poor, but of course they kissed that great idea goodbye. Anyone can buy from this co-op, but frankly without the discount, you will likely be paying more than at Coborns healthfood department or Walmart. What a crock. Abd you watch. If the Economic Development Committee bloodsuckers (Mayor Greg Zylka is president of this committee) get their way, Susie will be first in line with her hands wide open, ready to receive the first EDA money for INTERIOR repairs/remodeling as well.
Why isn't the city subsidizing potential homes that are in danger of foreclosure, to keep THOSE properties on the tax roles? Why: because then they woukdn't be able to give business welfare to their downtown buddies. That'$ why. No need to wonder why Washington and our national budget are a mess. See they are getting ready to ramrod through this sale at Monday nights city council meeting. This public notice came out just now. They will meet at noon, 5-16-16, propose a counter of 22k(half of what it'$appraised value of 39k is) then they will discuss at work session at 6:30pm on 5-16-16, add it to the formal council agenda that same night, without putting it on the market, as the minutes of 5-2-16 state. The interested buyer will put up a building in a PRIME DOWNTOWN LOCATION OVERLOOKING THE MISSISSIPPI, and get a whopping $weetheart deal at TAXPAYER EXPENSE.
WHAT COULD BE DONE WITH AN EXTRA 20K? Remodel city hall bathrooms so disabled folks can use the toilets at city hall. This kind of under the table deals could help unseat the mayor and councilman Loren Boyum. Shady, decietful and very likely ILLEGAL ...•••●●●■■■
Good thing I record meetings, as it is the ONLY way the public gets correct information. The minutes from these meetings are the official record, but in the case of the EDA meeting on May 9,2016, the public would HAVE NO CLUE THAT MAYOR GREG ZYLKA violated city policy/law that says no land acquisition, sales or deals may be discussed outside a CLOSED MEETING. Look at Carol Andersons minutes from that meeting. They are inaccurate/incomplete, and dishonest. The minutes are the official record of the meeting, but the public would have NO IDEA of what really happened at that meeting, were it not for my video recording and blog. Shame on Carol Anderson for writing inaccurate/incomplete minutes. Shame on Mayor Greg Zylka, for violating the city laws/policy again.
In the minutes from the last EDA meeting last week 5-2-16, it states "Kasella(that's Lori Kasella, city finance officer) states the city received an appraisal of what the old Clark/Jiffy Lube lot should be worth which is $39,000.00. Mark Gerbi moved and Bob Reinitz seconded to ADVERTISE THE PROPERTY FOR SALE AT $39,000.00. Motion carried"
BUT AT TODAYS MEETING, it was suggested that city consider the offer(this unknown person is the only one who is aware the property is even for sale) of $18,000.00....less than HALF THE PRICE IT'S WORTH. President Greg Zylka suggested offering a counter proposal of 22,000.00. When I asked why this publicly owned property had not been put on the open market, his answer was "they had discussed that," with no explanation as to why they were discussing the sale, without it even going on the public market to get a better offer. They then quickly suggested going into a closed ssession to discuss the matter, since I was recording. Call the city quickly to complain about this underhanded assault on the taxpayers. 320-616-5500. The video will be all over the internet on youtube, Facebook, Google, Twitter and my blog shortly. They are NEVER supposed to discuss the sale of a city property outside of closed session. They are attempting to ramrod this deal through so it can be approved at the next council meeting on May 16, 2016. Betcha it's the MCRECORD or some other friend they want to see het a steal on it. Betcha. Good ol white boys club at work again.....and at YOUR EXPENSE.
