I wish to extend a special invitation to all other pastors, sisters, priests and other clergy to join in the celebration of Martin Luther King Day vigil from 1pm-2pm at Bank Square downtown Little Falls, Mn ....intersection of Broadway Avenue(hwy 27) and First Street. Weather is supposed to be great...like 37 degrees. We are heading for Little a Fiesta for discussion and great food following the peaceful vigil. What say ye???

IT IS SIMPLY OUTRAGEOUS THAT THE CITY COULDN'T SEEM TO GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

NOW ANY REVISIONS TO THE ORDINANCE WILL REQUIRE EXTRA TAXPAYER $$$$ to have the city attorney do even more research and revision, say nothing of additional staff hours of the zoning administrator, Ben Oleson, to get it right.

What an embarrassment this city council,staff , committee members and attorney are.

Much information that is deeply disturbing is written in the letter....

And then the letter says in part "That is just the tip of the iceberg." And then goes on to say more revealing information. Including "None of these things is something a pillar of a community would be doing. He is a piece of trash that puts on a mask for everyone to see. Very few have been able to see through it. I don't care what you do with this information; I just thought you should know exactly what type of guy you were dealing with. It is nice to see someone stand up to this ass and put him in his place. Keep it up and show him what you are made of."

NOW NOTICE THE PARKS ORDINANCE (LAW) THAT SAYS NO SIGNS CAN BE PLACED IN PARKS. Remember that in early December 2014 the Lindbergh Lions were allowed to place their ILLEGAL OFF PREMISE SIGNS in LeBourget Park, the very same park I requested placing MY SIGNS BACK IN 2011????

SEE THE PROBLEM HERE??? IT IS CALLED NON-UNIFORM ENFORCEMENT OF THE LAW AND VERY VERY ILLEGAL.

WHAT A CROCK.

New Little Falls Mayor Greg Zylka pulls his first "VANRISSEGHEM"

Now what do I mean by Zylka pulls first "VanRisseghem?"

Well, take a look at how many present council members he appointed to official city boards and commissions

This is identical to what Cathy VanRisseghem did.....stack the committees with friends, and council members. With one difference....he hasn't appointed multiple family members.

This is a power play. If city government can monopolize all of the city committees and boards, they continue the power broker domination.

Where's the necessary diversity for balance?   There are multiple business owners and city residents of diversity......why were none of them appointed to the boards?

I know Brian Crowder requested to be placed on the library board, where he has served honorably for many years. He also asked to be on the airport commission, where his father, Paul, was instrumental for decades.

What's your reason, Greg, for not appointing him?

Look at the numbers I have highlighted, on the green sheets at the bottom.

It's a fact that Frank Gosiak, (former mayors brother), missed 4 consecutive library meetings.   They only meet every 3 months, so Frank missed an ENTIRE YEAR OF MEETINGS. And then he is reappointed again?   What's wrong with this picture.

It is not acceptable that MOST of the new positions are power broker council members.   This is just plain WRONG, and I for one, strongly object.

So Loren Boyum resigns from the Cable Board and then Greg appoints him to 4 more boards, right after Boyum says publicly at the election meeting, that he will not seek re-election in 2016.

Hanfler is already on the Planning Commission, so now he is not only council president, but sits on 4 boards.     Wow.

Frank is already on the Parks Board and also the planning commission president, and the Housing Commission board, for a total of 4 boards.    Wow.

Now take a look at Zylka's self appointments!!!

He already sits on the Airport Commission, so that means he is on a minimum of 5 boards, and he will probably put himself on more as time goes on. WOW!!!!!

Talk about an abuse of power!!!! This would be it.

I hope others push back on this, because folks, your city government is wreaking of collusion and CRONYISM AT IT'S WORST AGAIN.

And you thought electing Zylka was a good choice????

Now you can all live with what you deserve to get......MORE OF THE SAME!!!!!

If there's one thing that Zylka is good at , it's OPPORTUNITY HOARDING AND LEADING THE PACK TO DO THE SAME.

Now why would your former mayor be illegally soliciting donations for the LITTLE FALLS AREA RECREATIONAL COMPLEX??   WAS IT BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT SHE thought she was above the law?  No wonder they didn't want to be recorded(see the end of the video). They forbid recording devices at the very next West Side Improvement Association meeting.

Sure seems like it.

The state auditors office forbids ALL GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES from fundraising or soliciting donations.   OOPS....Cathy screwed up again. What an embarrassment.   Anybody that does not know the rules, or follow them, should be recalled immediately.

Remember that in the future, community. You may need to exercise this power.

SO WHAT DO THE WEST SIDE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION FOLKS AND THE LINDBERGH LIONS KNOW ABOUT TREES THAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT.

Listen also to how she ILLEGALLY SOLICITS DONATIONS FOR THE Little Falls Area Recreational Complex. The State Auditors office rules forbid city, county and state governmental bodies to fundraise or solicit donation. FACT.

I think this is hilarious that the city is choosing the same firm to represent them in my appeal on conviction.

Good Luck city on this one....several police employees really messed up.
