This Hanfler guy is right......AND the city and individuals can be held liable civilly if anyone contracts covid19 at these events.....and taxpayers foot the bill for all legal charges. Council votes on this on Monday night 7-20-20. Better call city hall.....let them know you oppose. 320-616-5500.
Can Kris VonBerge and Tony Armagost be held liable(as well as each city councilor) and city if anyone contracts covid19 at these events? Yes....likely.
No more Lone Ranger car club show/swap meet either. That's my terminology for the car club.
Will Susy Prosapio's Shoppes of Little Falls survive another year without this $$$ ???
Bad news for vendors, who likely prepared since spring for this show. The Chamber of Commerce wasn't very friendly to all the artisans that prepared their hand made art for this, over the last few months. Why did the Chamber wait until the last minute to cancel? Inconsiderate at best. Vendors will not likely return next year because of that.
I wouldn't. And yes, I was a vendor for 8 years, had a downtown shop and was a Chamber member.
This doesn't reflect well on the Chamber, the city, or the community. Think about it.
