Audio below of Sylvia Allen's presentation on the proposed Redneck Festival. SHE stands to profit from this event. That's all she cares about. Period.

This Sylvia Allen is one of Aitkin's "opportunity hoarders/thieves(in my opinion).....wanting to capitalize on local landmark buildings for their own personal financial gain. Not unlike Little Falls, Mn. Suzy Prosapio(owner of Shoppes of Little Falls)
She was able to garner all kinds of community help/grants/opportunity hoarding from the Initiative Foundation, Historic Preservation $$$, Little Falls Convention Bureau CEO(Kris VonBerge's) help, in order to get her business up and running in the old Thielen Appliance historic building. Suzy is the wife of Dr. Phil Prosapio, and certainly didn't need the economic help of these organizations...any more than Wabash National(a fortune1000) multi-billion dollar corporation, needed Little Falls/Morrison County taxpayer funded welfare dollars.
A Redneck Festival is all we need here locally, to call attention to the Confederate Flag flying bigots that predominate this area.
Actually what we really need here, is a "Darn Festival." Where everything is opposite of the annual "Dam Festival." A celebration where cigarette smoking in the parks, campfires in the park, and alcohol consumption in the parks, are TRULY PROHIBITED(as our local ordinances mandate). Instead of setting a good example to our children, Little Falls, Mn. continues to encourage/authorize/condone, those type of behaviors. And then there are some people who wonder why Morrison County is plagued with an epidemic of "fetal alcohol syndrome" children, who get in trouble with the law when they become preteens/teenagers/adults. There is no cure for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. None.
You can see for yourself, Little Falls poor rankings. I believe part of the reason for these low rankings, is that the "opportunity hoarder/thieves" take all the money, and none of it gets to the real people in need. Simply rotten if you ask me. Take a look at the website of the Initiative Foundation if you don't believe me.https://www.homesnacks.net/cities/cities-in-minnesota/#redneck
