Shame on Camp Ripley. What are they hiding? Plenty.

Shame on Camp Ripley, the largest LIVE FIRE military training base in the United States Midwest, for violating their mandated Morrison County demolition permits for 2 facilities inside the base.  Since 2003 Camp Ripley has been compliant with this requirement, but all of a sudden in 2016, they don't wish to comply.  What does that tell you?  Listen at 44 minutes in, to the discussion on this important water/soil/air quality concern.  IS CAMP RIPLEY THE NEXT SUPERFUND SITE?   There has never been a city within a 10 mile radius of a live fire military base, that wasn't eventually contaminated, and it's residents sickened.

Can't say I haven't been warning the public for quite sometime now.  Every year, when Col. St. Sauver attends the Little Falls city council meeting in the spring to give his ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL yearly statement, I object to the pollutants spewed everywhere, and at least attempt to highlight the great health risk to all of the surrounding communities health.  To no avail.  There are way too many military connections throughout our city council, for them to remain neutral.  Councilor Loren Boyum is currently the liason for school students to Camp Ripley mentorship program.  At least he was in 2015.  A paid position, plus he served in the Army.
