Campaign signs

If you see any campaign signs or flags anywhere, please report them to MnDOT. city of Little Falls, or Morrison County administrator, depending on their location. None are legal 10 days after the election and any in the road right of way are a traffic hazard. It is a misdemeanor.

Elliot's Tattoo and Falls Energy signs ILLEGAL.

All pictures taken 12-11-20.  The facade of Elliot's tattoo building was reshingled recently without getting a mandatory permit from the city(with approval from the Historic Preservation Commission.)   The same is true for the sign. The building is owned by Margaret Flolid. Her son is handling the rental, so it was his responsibility to get the permit and advise Elliot's Tattoo that both permits were required. Listen to the video of the HPC meeting where this and Falls Energy are discussed starting at 28.45 minutes into the meeting way below.

Falls Energy sign is illegal because they did not get a sign permit from the city(with approval from the HPC). This building is owned by Al Nouis, who owns the rental place on west highway 27, across from where the West Side Bar used to be. Al should have notified Falls Energy owners of these requirements.

Don't miss the part about these 2 businesses at 28.45 minutes into the video above. Maybe since they've been publicly outed, they won't do this again.

Councilor Raquel Lundberg's food truck UPDATED sign is ILLEGAL in road right of way 12-11-20

Raquel knows better. She has been a Little Falls, Mn. city councilor for over 4 years. She reads my blog, and she knows very well that NO signs are allowed in the road right of way OR on the sidewalks.

After it was reported to the LFPD, she came out herself and moved her illegal sign to her property. Police must have called her to advise her to move it back. Isn't that convenient. Save her the embarrassment of having a squad car pull up and remove it. That's what you call "privilege"...."selective enforcement."

Notice also that her sandwich sign is ON the public sidewalk. Also illegal. Shame on Raquel.

And now this......maybe if folks didn't break the law, I would have less to expose? You suppose? From Raquel's Kitchen facebook page, with local comments.
