State Board of Investment votes to invest in VIOLENCE AND MISERY. A BLACK EYE ON MINNESOTA. Not "Minnesota Nice."
https://socialistworker.org/2015/09/23/vote-to-invest-in-violence-and-misery
Shame on all 4 who voted for this. Lori Swanson, Steve Simon, Rebecca Otto and Mark Dayton.
This Mansco Perry is a piece of work. He sits on the Affirmative Action Board also....which of course must uphold human rights. What a hypocrite.
I draw a pension under the umbrella of the State Board of Investment and I am ashamed of this board, and it's decisions.
I want to barf.
This is not "Minnesota Nice".....it isn't even "Minnesota Moral."

Frank Gosiak(councilor/former mayor Cathy VanRisseghem's brother) gets KICKBACK for his art.
Evidently Kris VonBerge and city staff were not bright enough to read the rules of the grant, before accepting it.
What a bunch of nincompoops.
Isn't this considered a kickback for a councilor? I wonder how many THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS Frank lined his pockets with this time? He is always milking the community.
Another great example of the good ol white boys opportunity hoarding club, snatching up all the grant money so the real needy folks never get ANY.
Just plain rotten. And this city has the nerve to run a "Kindness Campaign?"
Give me a break. There isn't one kind thing about this community. Nada. Everything is done for money.

City pays Chief of Police's son Mitchell Schirmers, more money than other part time staff.
Why on earth would the city pay parttime staff $10.00 per hour, and the Chief of Police's son Michell Schirmers (a student intern) $14.64 per hour? Pretty easy to figure out.
If I was a parttime city staff, I'd be ticked. Some of our parttime seasonal staff has been employed by the city, multiple years.
This is a blatant preferential treatment and then some. Completely unfair. Paid by your tax dollars.
Attend Monday night's council work session 12-16-19 at 7pm sharp, to give your 3 minute public forum comment, as to why you think this is wrong. They are voting on these 2 items following tge work session.

Margurite Cofell sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Flensburg's sweetheart isn't so sweet after all. And to think, Flensburg mayor John Gessell commended her for being a good employee of the city. The council unanimously shared that sentiment. (See the other articles on this blog about her). Just put her name in the search engine. There you can watch videos and see her pictures, as well as the council.https://www.justice.gov/usao-mn/pr/former-president-little-falls-credit-union-sentenced-96-months-prison-25-million-fraud

Margurite Cofell gets 8 years behind bars at sentencing Tuesday 12-3-19 St. Paul
Why hasn't the Morrison County Record published this? I emailed Terry Lehrke at McRecord the same day I called Cory Fink at Little Falls Radio. Neither has been tracking her case. Don't you wonder why not? Isn't that their job?

In this space, a stranger was welcomed. Jill R. Benson
Jill R. Benson: In this space, a stranger was welcomed
Letter writer says she was welcomed into the mosque with grace. Would other churches do the same?
Written By: Jill R. Benson, Willmar |
I was nervous walking into the mosque. I am a small-town Lutheran, and only the sudden death of my beloved Ridgewater College student, Yasmin, brought me to the Willmar mosque in November 2018.
Yasmin had been a bright light: thoughtful, hardworking, and friendly. She dreamed of combining family with accounting work. When I discovered she died in a car accident, nothing could keep me from her funeral, even though I had no idea what to expect. I put a scarf around my neck.
From the second I walked into the old Lafayette Elementary building, friendly faces welcomed me. Another Ridgewater student saw me immediately.
I asked if she could bring me to Yasmin's mother, so I could present her mother with an essay I wrote: how Yasmin taught me, and how her memory would accompany me through the rest of my teaching life. Not only did I talk to her mother, I sat in a place of honor next to her in a small room filled with female relatives.
I talked to her cousin, Amina, the most, about Yasmin's life away from school and Amina's own dreams apart from her job.
As it came time to join the other women in the large room that serves as the sanctuary, I told Amina I had worn a scarf but wasn't sure how to wear it on my head. She gestured to me with love. I leaned over her, and time stood still as she carefully tucked and folded, only a breath away.
Then, I entered a large room full of women that was dim but warm and inviting. I heard unfamiliar Arabic prayers, but stood joined with women who know grief but feel hope anyway.
If a woman in hijab walked into one of our churches, would we welcome her with so much grace?

Little Falls city councilors Raquel Lundberg/Frank Gosiak commit a MISDEMEANOR.
In Minnesota, littering a road or ditch,
Frontpage evidence of a crime. So I wrote this email letter to the entire council and city administrator. Both Raquel and Frank are up for reelection in 2020. I hope none of you votes for these lawbreakers. It's one stupid thing to the next, from the violations of the official city Golf Advisory Board, the city Public Access Tv board, illegal city sponsored/approved Chalk the Walk events(blatantly unconstitutional), non-uniform sign ordinance enforcement, city violating it's own unconstitutional sign ordinance, city council voting to display a drawing in violation of the Constitution in the lobby of the city owned Carnegie Library for more than 5 years, Sister City Committee sucking tens of THOUSANDS of dollars for more than 10 years that did not have a tangible public benefit, city not allowing a variety of clergy/ residents to give the invocation at the beginning of the year at city council meetings(it took 3 warning letters from a legal group for the city to cancel all invocations, rather than be fair, preferential cherry picked events for the Lindbergh Lions at city parks(with illegal signage), and now this. What next?
Voters should demand better. One can only imagine all the internal screwups that we don't know about, costing the taxpayers, loads of money.
If this doesn't make you ashamed of your city leadership, you are complicit, turning a blind eye, or not paying attention.
is against the law. A MISDEMEANOR.

U.S. police are being trained by Israel, and communities of color are paying the price.
I am told this program started in the 90's. No wonder conditions on the streets of America have been heating up in bloodshed. Then throw in the Veterans Preference act that shoves to the front of the line, former soldiers, to become law enforcement at all levels. Really tupid folks. Really tupid.

Camp Ripley's drinking water has dangerous levels of toxins
https://www.ewg.org/testimony-official-correspondence/tests-find-notorious-forever-chemicals-elevated-levels-drinking
And notice in this article below, the closed base water contaminant levels are almost identical to Camp Ripleys. The EPA recommends testing water 4 miles from Norton Air Force Base, as cities closeby are downstream from the poisons.
Little Falls is 4 miles downstream of Camp Ripley.

Catholic Health Initiatives partner Dignity Health(Common Spirit) lays off healthcare staff
Is this going to happen at St. Gabriels Hospital, here in Little Falls, Mn. if corporate profits tank? Common Spirit is the LARGEST NON PROFIT HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IN THE U.S. with the merger of Dignity and CHI.
We all know large mergers mean price fixing. This is a DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN within healthcare. Patients will suffer, have higher healthcare bills and have worse care, at the same time workers are stiffed.
Really tupid Little Falls. Really tupid.
