Took 6 years to bring this float to it's rightful home, after Cody Robertson gave it a new facelift. Great job Cody.

Brainerd Area Peace Coalition, you are terrific. Thanks to Larry Fisk, Gayle Neilson and Doug Olson for bringing the float to this parade. I know how much effort all of you have put into this.


And thanks to all others for making this dream a reality.  Much gratitude for Veterans for Peace Chapter 80 for donating the float, and Grand Rapids Peace group for generously delivering.

This eye-catching float will make it's next appearance in the Brainerd Fourth of July parade, starting at 4pm. Can't wait for the drum band's participation.

How come the taxpayer subsidized county/city newspaper(Morrison County Record) doesn't report on items of this importance? I think you know why. Taxpayers subsidize the McRecord shopper by 40k or so every year. What do they get in return?  Not much. Shame on editor Terry Lehrke for once again failing the community.
