Wabash National, Morrison County Record should have reported Wabash's environmental record. 4-29-17

http://mcrecord.com/2017/04/28/record-should-have-reported-wabashs-environmental-record/
It took about a month to get this printed.
The public should be aware that Tom West requested all documentation backing up my claims, which I did. He told me in an email 2 days ago, that "it was an enormous task to read through all of it, and one which we won't be repeating because we simply do not have the resources to do so."

Well, they can expect my future guest editorials to be factual, well documented and numerous into the future.  That is their job.  I wonder how much fact checking they research for any other writers?  Bet, not so much.

In this document there is proof that Wabash National paid an ADDITIONAL 100K penalty for the Knoxville, Tennessee dumping of a caustic solution(sodium hydroxide) that caused 2 children to get chemical burns on their ankles and feet.  There wasn't time to get this into Tom, before this article went to print, but here it is for you to see.Scroll down to Environmental Matters to find this "Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation, TDEC, the company negotiated a settlement agreement under which the company paid 100K.  An accrual for this fine was recorded, in 2001 and paid in 2002."

Somebody has to tell the truth.  And here's another interesting tidbit.  Tom West refused to print that Suzy Prosapio is the owner of the Shoppes of Little Falls.  When I asked him why he wasn't willing to print that, he said because it wasn't relevant to my article.   It is just as relevant, as Suzy's hubby(Dr. Phillip Prosapio) speaking on behalf of the entire Little Falls medical community/providers.  In her public testimony, her own words were that she was the owner of the Shoppes of Little Falls.  Do you suppose it's possible Tom didn't want to print this, because he attends church at First United, as does Suzy and Phil?  Listen for yourself at 24.50 minutes in to the above video, to what she says.  Thank goodness for my cameras.

Here is the definition of Superfund site.

The other odd thing, is that of all people, Doug Dahlberg, a mayoral appointed member of the city of Little Falls Energy and Environmental Committee, speaks in favor of Wabash.  Did he not do his research either?  Why didn't Jon Radermacher, the city administrator, forward the information that was in Wabash's own SEC form that disclosed there were 4 unresolved environmental disputes.  This should have sent alarm bells ringing at city hall.

My concern, including what they do to our water and air, is that this grave mistake(lazyiness or they didn't want to know) never happens again.  Before any company/corporation is even considered to be inline for public taxpayer subsidy welfare....shouldn't your city staff, committees, and elected officials be mandated to do this research?

How much worse, would their environmental track history have to be, before the city and county at least said NO to their request for 1.3 million in corporate welfare?  With the job training assistance package, I believe Wabash will make off with almost 2 MILLION in 2 years.  This is a Fortune 1000 company, folks.  They don't need and don't deserve your tax dollars.   They got it, because they wanted it...had the nerve to ask and the people paid to represent you FAILED.  Hard to see this any other way.

I am continuing my research and every time I put something different in Google Search, I find more violations/lawsuits/pollution.   I almost dread opening up documents, because I know what I will likely find.

Above is  Morrison County public hearing for authorization of giving them 400K in MIF grant and rerfunding 400K over 10 years, in property tax dollars, as long as they fulfill their agreement.  Why don't you ask Rob Ronning(Pine Country Bank), Ron Bieganek(Bieganek Insurance), Commissioner Duane Johnson, Carol Anderson( Morrison County Community Development), Tom Scherling(Century 21 Realty), Councilor Jeremy Hanfler, Mayor Greg Zylka and all others involved in CHEERLEADING/PROMOTING Wabash, if they did any homework at all on this company?

I dare you.

Finally after 4 years, when I asked.... city council made the bathrooms available to all

Pictures taken 4-27-17....if I had not asked them to renovate the bathrooms in 2013(so EVERYONE could use the bathrooms at city hall), it would never have been done. They are not that inclusive and forward thinking.

Little Falls city council hypocrites

Of course this may explain it. $$$ counts....especially WAR buck$ ■■■■●●●●••••

No we don't need more celebration of HICKS/REDNECKS in Little Falls, Mn. Sylvia Allen.

Now the public will be able to discern if their council really lives up to their mission statement.
Audio below of Sylvia Allen's presentation on the proposed Redneck Festival.   SHE stands to profit from this event.   That's all she cares about.  Period.

http://www.brainerddispatch.com/news/3986697-aitkins-minnesota-redneck-festival-moved-2017

This Sylvia Allen is one of  Aitkin's "opportunity hoarders/thieves(in my opinion).....wanting to capitalize on local landmark buildings for their own personal financial gain.  Not unlike Little Falls, Mn. Suzy Prosapio(owner of Shoppes of Little Falls)
She was able to garner all kinds of community help/grants/opportunity hoarding from the Initiative Foundation, Historic Preservation $$$,  Little Falls Convention Bureau CEO(Kris VonBerge's) help, in order to get her business up and running in the old Thielen Appliance historic building. Suzy is the wife of Dr. Phil Prosapio, and certainly didn't need the economic help of these organizations...any more than Wabash National(a fortune1000) multi-billion dollar corporation, needed Little Falls/Morrison County taxpayer funded welfare dollars.

A Redneck Festival is all we need here locally, to call attention to the Confederate Flag flying bigots that predominate this area.

We can then join the ranks of the other "most redneck cities in Minnesota" including Long Prairie and Sauk Centre.  Now that would be something to be proud of.  Oh but then 73% of Morrison County residents did vote for Donald Trump(the official king of the rednecks).

Actually what we really need here, is a "Darn Festival." Where everything is opposite of the annual "Dam Festival." A celebration where cigarette smoking in the parks, campfires in the park, and alcohol consumption in the parks, are TRULY PROHIBITED(as our local ordinances mandate).  Instead of setting a good example to our children, Little Falls, Mn. continues to encourage/authorize/condone, those type of behaviors.  And then there are some people who wonder why Morrison County is plagued with an epidemic of "fetal alcohol syndrome" children, who get in trouble with the law when they become preteens/teenagers/adults. There is no cure for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. None.

You can see for yourself, Little Falls poor rankings.  I believe part of the reason for these low rankings, is that the "opportunity hoarder/thieves" take all the money, and none of it gets to the real people in need.  Simply rotten if you ask me.  Take a look at the website of the Initiative Foundation if you don't believe me.https://www.homesnacks.net/cities/cities-in-minnesota/#redneck

Little Falls Board of Equalization meeting 4-27-17 see who wanted their property value lowered to avoid taxes.

Earl LeMieur(the "father" of the local opportunity hoarders) is first in line with his hands outstretched.

Kyle Hogarth, a successful business owner, also asks for a reduction.

People that don't need help are often the first to ask for it.   This is a plague in Morrison County, and the numbers of opportunity thieves/hoarders is in the HUNDREDS.  They will be the ones asking/begging for grant dollars and taxpayer funded business welfare.

Human Rights.....Little Falls is a no human rights zone.

http://www.wctrib.com/news/local/4256216-human-rights-commissioner-says-local-conversations-build-community?utm_source=Forum+Communications+Company&utm_campaign=caf98cfc6c-WCT_TODAY_RSS&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8a78114b8c-caf98cfc6c-234077765

Too bad Loren Boyum(former councilor of my ward 1) and others, never created a Human Rights Commission, when I asked them to do so in 2013.  They may seriously come to regret that, and soon. Human Rights boards primarily mediate conflicts before they rise to the level of a lawsuit.

Illegal campaign sign left up 4-21-17

I wonder how come this campaign sign, which was required to come dow no later than 10 days after the Nov.2016 election, is still prominantly displayed....right across the street from the "We Support Our Troops" banner in historic downtown Little Falls, Mn? These pictures were taken 4-21-17
Now how likely do you think the same exception to the sign ordinance would be allowed for me? This is another example of the hypocritical city government in Little Falls. Bunch of clowns.

Brainerd Area Coalition for Peace, highway ditches by Camp Ripley cleaning crew

Todays(4-20-17) potluck after they cleaned all the trash along highway 10 closest to Camp Ripley. They collected 14 bags. Then enjoyed a hearty vegan potluck at Belle Prairie Park, a campfire and great conversation. As good as it gets♡♡♡♡

Reverend David Whitten Smith testimony, anti BDS bill. Shame on Ron Kresha and Paul Gazelka.

Ron Kresha introduced this bill in the Minnesota House, and his cohort Paul Gazelka, happily introduced it in the Minnesota Senate. How pathetic. These 2 clowns have absolutely NO MORAL COMPASS...just like the 3rd pea in the pod, Trumpster.

WABASH NATIONAL environmental violation sordid record and their local cheerleaders. Don't say you weren't warned!

Too bad the Star Tribune writer fails to mention Wabash National filthy environmental violations track record.

And here is my letter to the editor Brainerd Dispatch on Wabash National environmental track record, published today 4-25-17
They are not afraid to publish the truth.
Too bad Brainerd Dispatch is not the official city/county newspaper for Little Falls and Morrison County.

https://youtu.be/LAL3d1isg98 THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY BENEFITS THE MOST FROM WORK INJURIES and ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTERS.

Your local elected officials, city staff, entire medical community(PROMPTED BY LOCAL CONTRACTED WORKMANS COMPENSATION DOCTOR PHILIP PROSAPIO AND HIS WIFE SUZY PROSAPIO(OWNER OF SHOPPES OF LITTLE FALLS), local business owners(including Tom Scherling), Doug Dahlberg a member of the ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE (also an employee of Pine Country Bank), your Chamber of Commerce(and it's president Steve Andres of Radio Shack) and County officials have publicly supported Wabash National. Somebody needs to sound the alarm bell!!! This is what your MAYOR should have done.  Mayor Greg Zylka should have instructed Jon Radermacher,  the city administrator, to forward the environmental disputes information that was in the Wabash National public packet, to the Energy and Environmental Committee to research and get their recommendation, BEFORE the 400k MIF grant was proposed, and BEFORE $500,000.00 of local tax forgiveness was given to Wabash National.  Why wasn't this done? People besides myself should be asking this question of their taxpayer funded, highly paid city staff AND all your local elected officials.  Why didn't any of them do this research?  Why didn't the local city/county welfare subsidized paper, the Morrison County Record, investigate any of this and then publish their findings?

http://leg.mt.gov/content/Committees/Interim/1999_2000/environmental_quality_council/minutes/eqc03242000.pdf GAIL HOLMES TESTIMONY IS IN HERE....SHE SAYS HER WELL IS CONTAMINATED AND SINCE IT'S THE POISONS ARE IN HER WELL, THEY ARE IN THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER.  She says their homes are WORTHLESS.

Wabash National is part of numerous Superfund sites....Amelia, Louisiana and West Sacramento, California, and another one in Arizona.  If this doesn't raise RED FLAGS, I don't know what will.

Besides the military toxins from Camp Ripley that are spewed everywhere 24/7, this is the other big concern for this entire area. Why aren't others raising their voices?

The more I researched, the sicker I got.

Property values along the river and in town would plummet, businesses in the historic downtown would likely all be negatively impacted if a serious environmental violation was committed in this quaint little river town.

Camp Ripley Economic/Environmental Impact 4-17-17 Col. St. Sauver, Little Falls city council mtg.

Mark your calendars....Sunday September 17, 2017 ANTI-WAR PROTEST, Camp Ripley Main Gate....time to be disclosed but plan on probably 10am-3pm. This is the "Community Appreciation Day, a bi-annual event Col. St. Sauver has the gall to give his presentation at the same time, Camp Ripley is out of compliance with local law. He is retiring this year.....think that's coincidental or perhaps has something to do with this lawsuit?  Morrison County had to sue Camp Ripley April 2016 for their refusal to get the REQUIRED CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS to operate their Type ll Demolition Dump(spreading of PETROLEUM CONTAMINATED soils).  Their non compliance is a real "POWER GRAB."

Notice also he discusses Shadow drones flying on the newly expanded bombing range and OFF CAMP RIPLEY BORDERS. Notice also he says they are training HOMELAND SECURITY personnel and many law enforcement personnel.  This is where our police become "WARRIORIZED."  This facility is the largest in the Midwest.

Margurite M. Cofell (the latest) ...what the Morrison County Record does not want you to know. Why not? Who are they protecting and WHY?

Brainerd Dispatch letter to editor 5-20-19, same date as Flensburg city council mtg ...https://www.brainerddispatch.com/opinion/letters/4615083-reader-opinion-what-do-about-cofell
Why on earth isn't the local OFFICIAL taxpayer subsidized newspaper, the Morrison County Record reporting on this.  Who are they protecting, and WHY?

The public has a right to know what is going on.

I wrote to Tom West, Terry Lehrke, and their bosses at ECM publishers to ask this question.....I want to know.

Once again, you heard the important news here.  This smacks of bias if you ask me.

Margurite used to be the city clerk for Flensburg, Mn.

Now we know she still is.

Notice she has until tomorrow(April 14, 2017) to answer or respond to the complaint. Judge Leo Brisbois is the same judge who mediated my court settlement with the City of Little Falls, Mn for violating my RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH.

Tonights 4-3-17 work session time...in case you want to comment on garbage changes

The city's time of 7pm start for public forum comments/work session is a accurate....the official city taxpayer welfare subsidized paper is NOT.  Notice this weekends paper that came out testerday 4-2-17 lists work session to begin at 7:15pm. That's probably so all who wish to complain about the cart system of garbage collection, will show up 15 minutes too late. I foiled their plan. Show up at 6:50pm so that right at 7pm you can make your voice heard during your 3 minutes of public forum free speech.

Baxter city council tie vote stops application for DRONE FUNDING.

http://www.brainerddispatch.com/news/4037764-baxter-city-council-tie-vote-stops-application-drone-funding

Scroll down about halfway into the article to see that our Camp Ripley drone protests caught the Baxter city council's attention and they evidently did not want a drone protest in front of their police department or their city hall.  So we have been effective.

Wabash National, who profit$ at what expense?

At least Brainerd Dispatch does their homework when all links, articles, facts are provided.

http://www.brainerddispatch.com/opinion/reader-opinion/4240997-reader-opinion-what-expense

http://www.brainerddispatch.com/opinion/reader-opinion/4256215-reader-opinion-poor-track-record

There will be more letters to the editor on Wabash National and it's subsidiaries in the future(their violations)
Count on it.  Somebody has to tell the public the truth. Since the Morrison County Record only print what they want the public to know about this company.

See the top picture where is says "city lot"....that taxpayer owned lot is the only property possible for Wabash National to expand, should they want to do that into the future.  It is adjacent to a stormwater ditch, owned by Morrison County, and maintained by the city of Little Falls. (city has an easement)  The potential for disaster is omni present on these 2 properties.  Let's hope the city does not extend the same privilege to Wabash, as it did Larson Boats, who have trashed that city owned lot with multitude of debris in the topsoil.

What is really disturbing about Wabash National, a known polluter buying the Larson Boats facility, is that all of the paving of the majority of this property, was done BEFORE the current standards for holding ponds were required.  In other words, it does NOT MEET today's city requirements for those now required ponds that provide a buffer for stormwater runoff.  You can see for yourself where any spills or runoff would end up.  Our great river is dangerously close to Wabash future property.

Ya right.....now who on earth would believe this??  This corporate mission statement is the definition of hypocrisy■■■

And then there are Donald Trumps latest tricks that will help corporations like Wabash National and subsidiaries to poison our water and air even more.....
The picture above is of the small pond at the northeast corner of Larson Boats property and is very close to the shoreline of the Mississippi.  They had junk stored on this corner last time I visited and took this picture.

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WAS IN David Drowns background check of Wabash National. David was hired to find out the financial liabilities, but the Morrison County Record, city elected officials/staff, the Chamber of Commerce, and the medical community should have done their homework before deciding to become "CHEERLEADERS" for a KNOWN/ well documented violator of OSHA and EPA laws. It appears the official city/county newspaper(MCRecord, subsidized with over 40k in city/county corporate WELFARE SUBSIDY) is nothing more than a $hopper.  It should be named the Morrison County Shopper.
