January 4, 2016 council work session cancelled
There will be no work session before council meeting on January 4, 2016.
That's because council has to reorganize before they discuss anything. They have to elect a new president. Or re-elect the current one, Hot Head Hanfler. Time of council organizational meeting is 7:30pm sharp. See you all there. Happy New Year everyone.

Justices side with church....maybe Betty Pasela should pray the council didn't mess up again.

What's really odd about sheriff and police reports in Morrison County and city of Little Falls, Mn is how SOME REPORTS have names listed and SOME that don't. Odd coincidence, don't you think? Craig Van Brickey has been issued a citation and will have a hearing later this month, January 2016. They were mis using tens of thousands of dollars of public funds, to support a posh travel plan for NON U.S. citizens!!! What an outrage. Betty is one who traveled to LeBourget and received public welfare money to get free lodging, free booze, free translation service, free gifts, free entertainment, free food, and more, once the Little Falls contingency reached France. And she has the audacity to suggest that I need prayer?

Pick up a history book and you will discover that Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Malcomb X, and more have been absolutely blasphemed by the society they lived in and still they plowed on to achieve justice. Look at how BlackLivesMatter participants and leaders are treated nationwide right now. They are one of the only movements that continues to pursue justice for African Americans. I align with them and that is why I posted a large BlackLivesMatter sign in Veterans Park in my display on Christmas Day.

Sparks Fly Public Forum comments 12-21-15 Little Falls, Mn. city council work session
I would like to thank, both Randall Bjerkness and Carren Miller for sharing their concerns and opinions with the council and myself. I hope you come back for every meeting. I hope all of the attendees, who have rarely or never attended before, also come back. It takes courage to speak truth to power, and that is exactly what Randall and Carren did. I implore others to do the same. Why waste even the meager 3 minutes of public comment time of free speech, twice per month? Council work sessions usually begin at 6:30pm the first and third Mondays of every month, some exceptions due to holidays. Check city website for more info or call 320-616-5500. For the entire last 5 years plus, I am usually the only citizen who attends the meetings. In this time, I have only missed 2 council sessions....one for illness, the other I was out of town on lawsuit business and could not attend. I had a friend record on both of those meetings so I wouldn't miss the discussion. Full work session uploaded next....then the full council session. Stay tuned.

Community hostilities flare at city hall 12-21-15
I am at council work session 12-21-15, as I write this. The chamber is about one third full. There are approximately 46 chairs in the people corral. Here are some photos of who is here. ☆☆BREAKING UPDATE☆☆ The request from David and Gabrielle Meyer, (former mayor Cathy VanRisseghems daughter and son in law) for a community display has been withdrawn.
Only 2 others besides myself, gave a 3 minute public forum comment.....Carren Miller and Randall Bjerkness.
Some folks were too embarrassed to have their picture taken. Some were not happy to have their photo taken.
My New Year 2016 PREDICTION☆☆ EARLY
I am going to predict that .....the city of Little Falls staff, council, mayor and city attorney ALL have knowledge that the Lindbergh Lions will be DONATING their entire Christmas display and (signage advertising the Lindbergh Lions), currently at LeBourget Park, to the city in 2016. It'$"all part of the grand scheme to SILENCE my speech, and allow THEIRS.
SEE THAT'$ ALL THAT IT TAKES to ensure that the Christmas display will continue to be placed on city property. If city owns it, city can and will erect, display and maintain it....likely in the very same location.
City even cleared the way with "off premise"signage by revising the sign ordinance to ALLOW ANY AMOUNT OF SIGNAGE ON GOVMINT PROPERTIES, by making an exception/exemption allowing any AMOUNT, LOCATION, HEIGHT, size, content, on any future displays AND signage.
Not to worry Littlefallsians.....your precious, adored Christmas display (which I happen to like as well) will march on, just like the little tin soldier within the display.
As a sidenote....since KLTF radio and their RUDE staff has cut me off SEVERAL TIMES, before allowing me to give my new year prediction over the air, you are hearing it HERE first.
They not only cut me off, they are ignoring me and refusing to answer my plea to explain what VanSlooten meant when he said "democracy is messy."
They are cowards, who are doing precisely what ECM publishers editorial comment instructed....IGNORE HER, and she will go away or be silenced.
Neither is true.
